Our Philosophy

The ice cream shop began with a little boy's dream and lots of hard work. Beck at the age of nine envisioned converting the family's old sheep barn into an Ice Cream Shop, with the help of family and friends this young man's dream came true.

Our Philosophy

The heart, and soul of Sanctuary Dairy Ice Cream is quality ingredients, a sustainable future and producing the highest quality ice cream with purees, and pastes from scratch. Our reputation is on the line with every scoop. With years of practice, we have refined those recipes to provide the best ice cream imaginable.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR. Let's celebrate Maple Weekends on March 16th, 17th, 23rd, and 24th at the ice cream shop from 8am-2pm. Cathy's homemade donuts- taking preorders just PM (plain, maple, sugar or sugar and cinnamon). Oh, ya corn fritters dripping with warm syrup, waffles, muffins, cookies, ice cream, cotton candy. Lots of free samples and maple goodies for sale lollipops, maple candy, popcorn, nuts, pancake mixes, and syrup. Don't miss out. Rumor has it a maple cookie ice cream will appear, and the famous Amy O'Clair ice cream will be available (maple base ice cream w/ maple candy pieces and fudge). Wall Street Journals' ice cream of choice Maple Bourbon with Pralins. Add maple walnut, maple cream, and maple whiskey ice cream to that menu, and you have something to celebrate

Solar Project 2012

It's about a child having a vision and leading by example. Our photovolatic solar collectors convert sunlight directly into DC electricity. The inverter converts DC power to AC power which is what we use for our electrical needs. Our system is a fixed mounted Mage Photvolatic Stystem, Powtec Plus 230/6PI, 14kW power system. Electricity produced runs our scoop shop, farm stand and home. Our system is grid tied and our excess power goes back to PSNH. Remember we all have a social responsibility to conserve energy, save natural resources and reduce waste.
